Perhaps you're the type who takes everything in your stride…or perhaps a little reassurance in today's hectic and chaotic world would give you some added peace of mind…

Simply answer the questions below in terms of how you think you'd cope, to find out!

Q1. Scenario…

It's been raining for over 24 hours and you've now discovered that the roof you thought was in perfect order has several
tiles missing and a large hole has appeared. You're frantically trying to salvage your treasured possessions as the rain pours in.

How do you think you'd cope?

a) Not a problem, I'd leave it

b) I'd be frantically trying to collect everything – my family photos, my jewellery and personal papers.

c) It would be completely impossible and I fear I'd lose everything I value the most…

Q2. Scenario…

A pipe has burst and as a result, your loo is now out of order. It's likely to be this way for at least a day and your only option is to ask your neighbours if you can borrow theirs.

How comfortable would you feel with this?

a) Not a problem, I could cope with this

b) I get on reasonably well with my neighbours, so it shouldn't be an issue

c) I've got a bad stomach – I'd be in and out of there every 2 minutes.

Q3. Scenario…

Your domestic power supply has failed. You've got 12 members of your family coming for dinner and only a camping stove
to cook a three course meal complete with roast potatoes, and an apple crumble for pudding…

How do you think you'd deal with this?

a) Not a problem, I'd put my apron on and start peeling the potatoes

b) Start calling local restaurants asking whether they have a table for 12

c) Reach crisis point and start crying into your sprouts

Q4. Scenario…

You've just got in from a visit to the theatre and your house is FREEZING. You've tried restarting the boiler numerous times but still have no central heating or hot water.

How are you going to cope with this?

a) Not a problem, I've heard being cold burns up more calories

b) Start doing laps around the room to warm up

c) Not cope at all – I NEED to be warm!

How did you do?

Mostly a's
Lucky you. You're so chilled out it's unlikely anything would ever bother you.

Mostly b's
Cross your fingers and it should all be OK…but do you really want to leave it to chance?

Mostly c's
